Traveling Mini Series: Introduction!

Hey everybody!  I am so happy to announce that this is the very first post in the traveling mini series! This is just an intro to the series and a question for my viewers.  This series will have 3 videos.  The first video that is in the middle of uploading  is What's in my travel makeup bag.   The next few videos will be what am I packing and then How do I Pack it in my suitcase.
Comments would be very much appreciated for this next part. What do you guys want to read and see on my blog?  Please answer!  If you are the first or second  comment answering this question I will send out an extra something to you when I have the drawing even if you don't win.  Heads up the drawing will be in september or later so don't worry if I don't contact you right away.

Coming Up!

Next week I will be out of town and won't be able to blog:( .  I will have a whole mini series on traveling... What I'm packing, What's in my makeup bag and How I packed it all in my suitcase! Oh I will also be doing a What's in my makeup bag video very soon and eventually starting outfit of the days.  I'm also redoing my room  so I will have a before and after post and a video while were working on my room maybe?  Now that school's almost starting I'll have an easy quick makeup tutorial that you can do when your in a rush and that will probably be part of another mini series along with anything Back To School related.  If you have any suggestions PLEASE PLEASE PRETTY PLEASE WITH A CHERRY ON TOP ask   and I will be more than happy to do it. I'm always excited to have ideas that my viewers would want to see!  I think I've said this so much but if I haven't here we go!  I am having a drawing when I reach 20 followers. If I reach 20 followers this month I will have a drawing next month.  so please subscribe. I'm not sure the rules of the drawing but who ever enters will have a pretty good chance, especially if not everyone on my site enters!  I'm think an e.l.f gift basket,  there stuff is very nice,. As I reach more followers I'll do some MAC products but I figured as a starting drawing prize this would be pretty good!  I am also in the process of my very first makeup tutorial... its not very good:(  but please check it out and give me some pointers, I don't have a very good camera so its hard to get closeup of my eye and what i'm doing i'll get pictures to post on here so you might be able to understand better and at least see what I'm doing!   Thank you guys for all the wonderful comments!

TGIF! My DIM manicure and Dream on Nail Polish Review!

Last Friday night yea we danced on table tops and we took too many shots.... SO glad Katy Perry wrote a better song about Friday!  Don't have to listen to Rebecaa Black auto tuned Friday!  ( NO offense if you do like Rebecca Black, shes just not my favorite!)  Anyway,  today i did a DIM  manicure.  In case you were wondering a DIM is a Did It Myself.  SO yea, I did a DIM manicure!  I'm still debating if I like it. The camera made my nails look hot pink but its actually like a plum color.  Its so pretty!  The color is by Sinful Colors  and its called Dream On.  Here is my review.

The color is so pretty the only thing is you have to put at least two coats on for the vibrant color to show very well.  When it dries you have to put on a top coat to give it the shine you would expect.  I have had it for a year and its still not clumpy it still seems like I just opened it.  

Overall grade: B

 

What goes with your eyes?

OK so I have heard the question so many times I have evn said it!  I have the answer for you!  Well before you know the answer you should probably know the question :)   the question is "What eyeshadow goes with my color eye?"  Yes this is the answer I have for you!
Brown Eyes: Anything looks good on brown eyes,but gold and copper colors make your brown eyes sparkle!  
Green Eyes: Peach, Purple, and brown looks really good on your eyes i would recommend this elf palette  (heads up it doesn't have purple)
Hazel Eyes: champagne, purples, and pinks look so good on you!
Blue Eyes:  Brown, Blues and Grays look best on you .( I know this because I am a blue eyed girl!)

Almost Forgot! Fashion and Health Tip of the Day!

Hey guys! Ok so I realized that I missed a day with my tips!  So Sorry my bad! Anyway here are the tips of the day.
Fashion Tip:  Wearing a thick bracelet right below your elbow is super cute!  And it would look good with almost any outfit!
Health tip: Instead of faty yogurt enjoy a popsicle!  They have sugar but the rest is water and fruit!

What I am Loving!: Too Faced Romantic Eye Palette

Hey Guys!  Ok so right now I really love the Too Faced Romantic Eye Palette.  It comes with nine colors. The color textures are very different some are shimmery and some are matte.  If you are a beginner with makeup, its great because they are three cards that show you different ways to wear it.  I sometimes go with the cards just because they are to put on real quick and look very good. Two of the cards are more dramatic, which is great for the night  and one of them is actually called day and it does look really good during the day...... what a surprise!  Any way here are a few pictures of what the palette looks like and the colors.

Health and Fashion Tips of the Day

Hey guys!  Please leave requests for any video tutorials you want!  I will be extremely happy to do them!  Here are the tips of the day!

Health tip:  Slow down when your eating! No matter how hungry you are, the slower you eat it is less likely that you will over eat!  So spend at least 15 minutes eating any meal.

Fashion Tip: To make a full black out fit or black and white outfit dress it with some bright colorful accessories!

Hey guys so today I decided that I would have a post everyday with one health and one fashion tip
So starting today here is the first fashion and health tip!

Fashioin tip 1: A bright wide belt hung low on your waist makes you look curvier.

Health tip 1:  As time has gone on our plates have gotten bigger!  Using a smaller plate will help you not over eat and realize when your full!

Feather Extensions

Okay so I have been wanting a feather extension for some time I think they or so cute.  I would have to say that feather extensions have become so popular since American Idol judge, Stephen Tyler, wore some pretty crazy feathers for about the whole season! I think that was a bit over the top in my opinion but I think just one or two feathers looks really good.

Hey everyone! Okay so today I was just messing with my hair and I created what i call "The French Twist on Both Sides with a Side Bun"... very creative i know(:.  Anyway here is the picture of it. I thought it would be perfect for anything faancy.  You can do this hairstyle with a ponytail instead of a bun with a cute bow or ribbon  either way is cute!

Random Blog! My new favorite Movie!... and my not so favorite!

Hey guys! So today I went to see Captain America with my friend Laura and it was such a good movie.  I would recommend  this movie to anybody.  This is kinda an action movie which I 'm normally not into but this movie was so good!  Heads up if you do see it:  Well maybe depending on if you are a blonde at heart... no offense(:.  But anyway I had to have someone explain this to me,  make sure you pay attention to the end and the beginning of the movie they like play now in the movie and then go back to the past and then come back to now if that makes sense.  Haha.
Okay now my not so favorite movie.  Just to let you guys know I amnot big on Transformers so this is one of the reasons i din't like this movie.  YOu've probably figured it out but Transformers 3 is now my least favorite movie.  I thought it was good at first but then after a half hour of fighting I got kin of sick of it.  After I saw this movie I was completely turned off to action movies and was surprised when I liked Captain America.  I kind of watch the same type of movie all the time and I'm trying to kind of expand my movie taste buds a little more.   Anyway, leave a comment on your favorite and least favorite movie of the summer!

 Sorry I haven't done a video/ blog in the past week! I was on vacation to Disney World!  I had so much fun!  I went with my best friend and we rode the Tower of Terror and Aerosmith (btdubs my new favorite ride!) .  Also, I haven't been online for a week and when i came back I had 4 new subscribers on my channel and blog! So exciting!

My Top Makeup Must Haves!

Hey guys ! Just to let you know I do not have any mac or sephora makeup, these are all drugstore products.   Leave a comment on your makeup must haves!


1. Revlon Beyond Natural Cream to Powder Eyeshadow
- I really like this because it is shimmery:) and its a cream which makes it so much better lol.  I've recently found out that I love cream eyeshadows, I think they look much more natural than powders. It is a pallete with four colors that help you create the best natural look.
2.Covergirl Clean Foundation
- It is the only foundation I have ever tried and have been using it for a while.  It's liquid, which I like so much better than the powder, its's easier for me to apply and it doesn't leave streaks on my face.  
3. Too Faced Romantic Eye Shadow Pallete 
-  I am in love with this! It has nine different colors on it and it has cards to show you different ways to apply it!  One for night day and anything else!  This is the most expensive product I have it is 36$ and I would say it is worth it. I rarely splurge on expensive makeup but this is one time i would say is worth it.
4.E.L.F eye primer
-I love this primer! It makes eyeshadow easier to stay on and gives it a little extra shine!
5. elf Translucent Matifying Powder
-  If you have oily skin this really keeps the shine off all day! I have beenusing it for a while and I haven't had to use powder or anything else to keep my skin clear.

My Manicure

Hey everyone!  So today I was with my friend Laura who I haven't seen in forever, and we decided to do our nails!  I really like this manicure because its  so mixed up and different.  I recently saw someone wearing it and thought it was so cute, I had to try it! This nail idea i guess you could call looks good if you use two colors from the same color... if that makes sense haha I mean like a dark pink and light pink, like I did or black and white i think looks really good.

SHAM Shower hair and Makeup Routine

Hey guys!  I was recently looking at a website and they were talking about their SHM routines, Shower, hair, makeup.  So they had like 2 videos to show what their morning routines are.  So, I kinda changed the SHM to SHAM so it actually sounds like a word :) lol.  Anyway here is my SHAM routine.

When I wake up (around 9:30) : eat breakfast then brush teeth )
9:50: take shower
*when i take showers I wash my hair every other day. so when i don't wash it I have it pulled up in a bun
afterwards I hope it will cooperate and if it doesn't it's usually up in a bun
10:05: After the shower I use some lotion and put contacts in
my favorite lotion is the PINK from Victoria's Secret/ Bath & Body Works
10:15 : I take my hair out of the towel and blow dry
10:30 Straighten hair or curl it
10:45: my favorite part of the day MAKEUP! (check out my youtbe channel for my daily makeup routine! coming soon!) All finished!
